My favorite pastime on week ends is searching out yard sales. When I saw Trailways to Treasures I couldn't pass this one up. I came over early in the morning to pick up my daughter, Tamara Phillips, and off we went.
We enjoyed all the yard sales from town to town [so many] and I found some great bargains, [candle wick dishes at a great price to add to my collection and a small Indian girl figurine for 25 cents (I later found out she is worth $94.00) and many more treasures.
All the people we met were so friendly. What a great time we had—so much fun! We stopped at McDonalds for a quick break and to catch our breath and talked about the treasures we purchased before we headed out again, and the manager treated us to a free McCafe Frappe.
